Dragon’s Lair for iPhone, no tokens required.
Electronic Arts has just released the iPhone version of the classic arcade game Dragon’s Lair. Originally published by Cinematronics in 1983, the game featured animation created by former Disney animator Don Bluth. Arguably the most successful game of it’s kind is now available to iPhone users.

“Dragon’s Lair: The fantasy adventure where you become a valiant knight, on a quest to rescue the fair princess from the clutches of an evil dragon. You control the actions of a daring adventurer, finding his way through the castle of a dark wizard, who has enchanted it with treacherous monsters and obstacles. In the mysterious caverns below the castle, your odyssey continues against the awesome forces that oppose your efforts to reach the Dragon’s Lair. Lead on, adventurer. Your quest awaits!”
Games of this era were made using simple computer-generated graphics, while Dragon’s Lair featured full motion video animation with a built-in laserdisc movie player. Players made decisions for Dirk about where to go and what to do at key prompts in the game, which would either continue the story or end with his demise. Dragon’s Lair for the iPhone features the original Arcade Mode and a special Home Mode, along with additional scenes.
