If you’re a fan of PC strategy games like Age of Empires and Civilization, The Settlers is a fantastic find. While Command and Conquer raises the bars at $9.99, The Settlers provides comparable entertainment for less than that price at $7. There are enough objectives among the 4 featured tribes that I’ve already spent hours on the application, and still haven’t finished the game.

Command & Conquer was initially developed by Westwood Studios between 1995 and 2003 and development was taken over by Electronic Arts with the liquidation of Westwood Studios in 2003. This classic real time strategy has finally arrived for the iPhone!

Taking cues from series like Burnout and Need for Speed this is another title you’ll want to put on your list for the racing fix. The game features a well built single-player campaign, but what players will really want to check out is the peer-to-peer and online multiplayer for up to 6 players over Bluetooth.
