Yesterday, we told you about Mac OS X's Exposé for iPhone. The developer, Steven Troughton-Smith (who also developed Stack), has changed the title (as expected) from Expose to Orbit. The app has been submitted to the Cydia store for Jailbroken iPhones and is now available for $2, but is worth the price if you have a lot of apps.

Developer Steve Troughton-Smith, maker of the popular “stacks” app, has successfully ported Mac OS X’s Exposé feature onto a Jailbroken iPhone 3GS. The app is compatible with iPhone OS 3.1.2 and 3.1 firmware and will require a Jailbroken iPhone.

Apple has just made a move to prevent Jailbreaking and other hacks on it’s iPhone hardware in an a attempt to stop app piracy. The iPhone 3GS bootrom was modified in mid-production and made immune to the so-called “24kpwn” exploit which allowed the iPhone to be Jailbroken. So users purchasing a new iPhone 3GS will not be able to Jailbreak until a solution is found.

The iPhone jailbreak for OS 3.1.2 is now available via PwnageTool 3.1.4 for iPhone 2G/3G/3GS and iPod Touch 1G/2G. 3GS users not already jailbroken and stuck at 3.1.x: this version of PwnageTool has a side feature to jailbreak your 3GS. Note Pwnage Tool is still Mac OS X only.

Many users were upset again when the Dev Team released the latest version of Pwnage Tool for Mac users only and that’s understandable. Thankfully Windows users are not going to be left in the dark much longer. According to a recent Twitter message, a new tool called sn0wbreeze dubbed “Pwnage Tool for Windows” will be available on October 12th.
