Back in the mid 90’s instant messaging was all the rage, although the basic concept has been around since the mid 60s in less glamorous forms. PowWow came first, then ICQ, and then finally in 1997 AOL Instant Messenger or AIM was born. In 2001 Cerulean Studios launched Trillian to unite them all into a single application, including AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and IRC. Now days Trillian includes everything but the kitchen sink with the addition of Windows Live, MySpaceIM, Google, Jabber, Skype, Email, Facebook, and Twitter. But can the iPhone version of this amazing app pass muster with Apple?
